A New Chapter, Same Heart

For over four decades, the Alexander’s name has been a staple in Walhalla. Many locals remember it as the go-to destination for office supplies, a place built on friendly faces and community service.

In 2022, that legacy of community connection began a new chapter. We, Levi and Carrie Shook, after purchasing the business, saw a vision to focus on coffee and food items and embrace the idea of a vibrant hub where Walhalla could gather. Alexander’s Coffee House & Cafe began taking shape as a place to fuel your workday, relax with friends, and connect with the heart of our town.

Four Friends, One Passion

As our dream grew, so did our family. We are thrilled to have officially welcomed our new partners, Anny Torres and her husband, Alex Correa as friends and partners in January 2025!

If you’ve ever fallen in love with one of our signature drinks, you already know Anny’s work. She has been the “brains” behind our recipes since day one, bringing her passion and creativity to every cup. Together, Anny and Alex also infuse our menu with the authentic flavors of Puerto Rico, offering a delicious taste of the island right here in Walhalla. While Anny crafts the perfect drink, Alex works behind the scenes, keeping our shop running smoothly with essential repairs and maintenance.

Together, the four of us are proud to carry the Alexander’s torch forward, blending our shared love for community with a passion for exceptional coffee and food.
