We ordered americanos, and a slice of pie. I normally drink drip coffee but my americano was very good. staff was friendly even though it was close to closing time. There is small- medium candy section with a good variety of options in addition to the day we were there, there were truffles and pies. I enjoyed my visit. I would go back.
So the coffee is amazing The people are great. One main issue is speed. It takes forever to get a coffee and I was the only person in line today two coffees 15 minutes. If I would have been the 20th person in line would I have to wait an hour I would just say address the speed speed it up.
If you are not getting your coffe and ice coffee from alexanders you are totally missing out
A nice little cafe in Walhalla and so much nicer than the "other" coffee shop. They have cofee, sandwiches, soups, ice cream and much much more. If you haven't had the opportunity you should try it!

Great food and great service. BLT panini and Turkey Panini were both excellent, but the potato salad was the star of the meal! Seriously may be the best potato salad we’d ever had. The pretzel dog and Oreo milkshake was great as well. All around wonderful lunch.

Exactly the kind of place you are looking for from a small town coffee/eatery. Staff remembers your name, always smiling, and friendly! The food will surprise you, doesn't give you the Starbucks food vibe, meaning it doesn't taste like it came out of the back of freezer truck and microwaved. Its actually good food, the breakfast sandwiches are great and filling, and the latin specialties are always excellent! The coffee is my favorite in all of the upstate, including better than all the coffee I've had in Greenville SC. Seriously, do yourself a favor and come eat, get a coffee, and enjoy the wifi!

I have visited this business a handful of times. My most recent visit was the most enjoyable so far. They are in a newer location and it is absolutely beautiful and so relaxing. My favorites are the Costa Rican pastries and the sugar-free iced coffee. Additionally, every menu item I have tried, I have enjoyed!

Great spot downtown Walhalla. Offers so much for those that just want a good snack, some coffee and great vibes. The Puerto Rican pastries are delicious. Looking forward to going back.
Just had to get a package sent back by Fed Ex. The young lady was very kind and courteous!!!! Food is no longer available at the location I was at, so I didn’t rate this.
I drove through Walhalla for the first time today and the coffee sign attracted me to Alexander's. Everything was fantastic! I had a delicious everything bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese, followed by a latte with sugar-free raspberry syrup. Absolutely delicious. The Cafe is filled with goods made by local artists and artisans, as well as a few souvenir items from Puerto Rico, where the owner is from. There are Puerto Rican pastries on the menu as well, which I will try the next time I am in. The service was great, and the cafe is really open and comfortable. I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area. I highly recommend it!

Visited the new place a couple of stores down from the old one. The new store is larger but still has the cozy laid back feel of the old one. Of course being a real Cuban I had "el sandwich Cubano" and a Cafe con Leche. Good as always. Stop by when you get a chance. You won't be disappointed.
If your looking for a clean, nice, and friendly atmosphere to enjoy lunch and a cafecito Alexander's Work and Wander is definitely the place to go. I ordered the chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, let me tell you they did not disappoint! The sanwiches were huge and delicious. The cortadito hit the spot on this cold and windy day too. Come in and meet Annie, the owner, who is absolutely a doll! I forgot to mention their pastries are absolutely exquisite. Stop by you won't be sorry... I wasn't 😊
I was delighted to see the new, larger space! And so many new additions to the menu! We had Cafe Con Leche with cheesecake, perfect afternoon sweet treat! We felt so welcome by the owner. And prices are very reasonable so stop in, you’ll love it!
This was the first time my friend and I stopped in at Alexander’s and it was such a great experience! The boss was so lovely and sweet. She picked out my friend’s drink and she loved it. I got the cookie butter latte and it was delicious and so was the spinach and feta pretzels! They also had handmade cups and mugs that were beautiful! A must stop if you’re around looking for a great coffee shop. I wish them nothing but success!

Our family made a stop in downtown Walhalla after visiting Isaqueena Falls. The service was outstanding and the lattes were the best coffee drinks we’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!
This place has the most laid back atmosphere you could imagine. It's got an Ashville "coffee shop" vibe mixed with good 'ol Walhalla hospitality! I believe on Friday mornings if you get here early enough, you can catch a live acoustic guitar performance given by two gentlemen. Great place indeed!

A charming place where the coffee is authentic from Puerto Rico and the pride of its roots is felt in every cup. The owner, also from Puerto Rico, is incredibly friendly and offers top-notch service. Plus, he is fluent in both English and Spanish, making everyone feel welcome. Definitely a place to return to again and again!

Was treated to lunch there today! My croissant chicken salad sandwich was awesome. I had the pasta salad which was good but had too much dressing, in my opinion. Definitely will go back especially since it's very close to my pharmacy.

Not many places open on a Monday in the lake country so was happy to find this place. Loved every mouthful and coffee was delicious! Sat outside and enjoyed every mouthful.
My husband got a bagel sandwich and I got homemade pimento cheese on multigrain with a side of potato salad and everything was outstanding. So full of flavor, and both the bread and the bagel were fresh and fluffy. The coffee drinks are also excellent. Everything is served by the nicest people. In short, this is the lunch spot you’re looking for.
The staff are extremely nice and inviting, I had never been here before and stopped in while killing time and I’m so glad I did. I had questions about the menu and the nice lady helped me through everything and made my drink just the way I like it. Best cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time and wonderful experience overall. I will be coming back for sure!
Since Partners In Wine closed this is really the only place in Walhalla that's worth driving to. Well maybe Stump House too. Their specialty Cuban coffees are great.

Staff is incredibly welcoming, and polite. There are things that can make you feel comfortable inside. It is a quiet space where you can work on different things, and focus pretty well. The coffee is really nice there, along with the amazing pastries. One of the best coffee shops I've ever been to

The coffee was amazing, the service impeccable, the warm pastries were delightful and the cozy atmosphere was right up my alley. It was my first time here but it won't be my last.
My family loves Alexander's. Breakfast pastries and lunch are delicious- we especially love the chicken salad croissant. Lots of great coffee and non-coffee options. Prices are very reasonable. The ladies who operate the counter are very friendly/helpful. One of my favorite things about the shop are the locally handmade goods that really highlight what makes Oconee County special.
We only got ice cream, but we’ve loved it every time. We’ve been here about five or six times now.

Came here for a quick afternoon coffee in downtown Walhalla, and ended up stopping here another two times before we left!! It’s absolutely delicious, super sweet and tasty coffee. They have a large variety of coffee flavors and make such unique lattes. The Snowing at the Fish Hatchery is divine, I would definitely recommend it!! Such a great coffee shop.
Found this place on a waterfall sightseeing trip. After a couple hours of hiking through Oconee state park this place was a slice of heaven. Fantastic handmade food and beverages gives that home town feeling that we were craving in a town like this. Hits the spot in all the right ways!
I wish I could speak Cuban. I hear it's similar to Spanish. Then again a majority of the foreign languages around here are Spanish, maybe I'm ear blind. The coffee is awesome sauce and cool beans rolled up in a warm embrace from a dear friend. The dear friend you let borrow something and right before you were about to replace it, the friend appears and you say do you still have that thing?, and the friend replies, " yes, you can borrow it".

This is absolutely the best coffee place I've ever been to. The coffee was great and I also ordered a glazed donut and it was very delicious. One of the best donuts I ever had. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area. Very nice people and they put a lot of effort into their drinks, pastries and atmosphere.
